Ref TWH: Chesham
A wonderful role with two young boys in HP5, Chesham.
Days: Tues-Fri | Hours: av. 38hrs/wk | Ages: B11m, B4 | Salary: £30k-£33.6k
A lovely role working with a family close to Chesham, HP5 area
At the start of position, their boys will be 11 months and just 4
This is an ongoing position to start late-March (Tues 25th, or can wait for early April) 2025
The role is 4 days per week, fixed as Tues-Fri
They require a nanny for an average of 38 hours per week:
Term time this is Tuesdays 7-6.30pm, with Wed, Thurs, Fri 1-6.30pm. They can also offer 7-9am (or even just 1 or 2 mornings to suit you)
In private school holidays, you'd work Tues-Fri 7-6.30pm
The eldest is in full time preschool, and school from Sept 25. Tuesday is full day with the youngest. He attends nursery 9-3 on Wed-Fri
In school holidays you'd have the eldest only as the youngest is in nursery year round, so lots of time for fun activities and days out!
From 1-3pm there is time to help with nanny duties, meal prep etc
They offer £15-£17gph which works out to £29.6k to £33.6k per annum (with those 3 mornings 7-9am)
A driver is essential, ideally with your own car for work use but for the right person they could arrange a duty car
Ofsted registration is not needed
They have a lovely small dog. They really do want someone to love her as much as the children! So a dog fan is a must. On nice days a brief walk for her before colleting the boys would be great (dont worry, she wont walk in the rain!)
Sole charge - mum may work from home a day or so but not yet confirmed
They have a holiday home in Cornwall so would love someone willing and able to join mum there in half terms sometimes, she would be working so you'd still care for the children but some shared care also during these trips. This would be for a week (max) at a time
They can also offer regular babysitting, at least 3 times a month, to bring your money up - this can be work nights or weekend
This position is not suited to a nanny bringing their own child to work
