A family in Hertford is seeking a nanny/mothers help for 4 young children.
Days: Mon-Fri | Hours: 8.30-5.30 | Ages: 4, 2, 1 and NB | Salary: £16-£18ph / £37.4k-£42.1k
A warm and welcoming family in Hertford (moving to Old Hatfield, AL9 mid-year) is in need of a nanny/mothers help
They have 3 children presently aged 4, 2 and nearly 1. They are expecting their 4th baby in May
They need cover Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (45 hours per week)
This is to start ASAP and is permanent. Please note the family will move to Old Hatfield (AL9) mid year, so your location needs to suit both commute distances!
Mum is at home full-time, and with four young children and different schedules, the role involves teamwork and shared care. Some tasks will be done together, while at times, you’ll take responsibility for one or more children
The eldest two children (4 & 2 years) attend nursery three days a week. From September, the eldest will start school, and the 2-year-old will attend preschool 2-3 days per week.
They offer £16-£18 per hour which is £37,440k up to £41,120 depending on your experience
Dad works long hours outside of the home so you'd rarely see him
A driver is a must. Ideally you'll use your own car (as wouldnt take more than 2 children) but if there were times you needed to take more, you can then use mums car so they'll insure you on that also
They have a lovely larger dog, typically at doggy day care so not often home and no care required but wont suit a nanny with a fear/allergy
Child related help around the house, eg the childrens cooking, sorting toys/school admin
There are groups and classes across the week you can take them to, and tag team school runs (eg if mum takes big two to school, you stay with baby and toddler, or vice versa)
This role will suit a flexible, easy going nanny who has experience working in a busy and dynamic household! The children are in strong routines This position will not suit a nanny bringing your own child to work
