Ref SFC: Harpenden

A family in Harpenden is seeking a nanny for one boy of 12 months (+3 brothers 8, 11 and 12 - minimal care) 

The role is 2 days per week, ideally Tues and Fri but flexible. Hours 7.30am-3.30pm 

This position is term time only (state school terms) so you'd have little to do with the elder 3, apart from dropping 8yo to school please  

The youngest has spina bifida, so a nanny with SEN experience is desired. He has a full range of movement and is doing physio to build up his muscle strength. The main need from his nanny will be changing his catheter - full training provided, and no experience of this is needed as (once you know how) its simple - but someone with an SEN background may feel more comfortable!  

This is a long term role to start in the New Year 

They offer £17-£20 gross per hour, depending on your exp /SEN exp (this works out to £12k-£14k per year) 

You will be in sole charge. Dad typically works from home, mum is out for work 

Ofsted registration is required (or willing - family happy to pay the annual fee) 

They have 2 guinea pigs, but no other pets 

A driver is needed with your own car for work use. You're very welcome to head out with him to a playgroup, parks, or sign up for a class 

Light nanny duties only - the focus is on fun with the baby!  

This position will not suit a nanny with your own accompanying child (NWOC)
