Ref MKH: Royston

A fab family in Royston is seeking a nanny, or nanny-light housekeeper for one 8 year old boy 

This is maternity cover for their nanny of 8 years. The role is to start ideally late Feb for a handover with her, and can end either late August or late October to suit you (6 months or 8 months) 

They are flexible on the hours they can offer. Their current nanny works 6.30-9am and 3-6.30pm, but they can offer 40 hours (so you can take a 4 hours break each day to study, socialise, go home) with some light house help - or even full days if needed 

In private school holidays, they need 7.30-6.30 (55 hours per week) 

If more hours than just the wrapround, they ask light housekeeping - no cleaning - nanny duties, the odd errand, collect the food shop, laundry - no cleaning or heavy housekeeping expected. They hire separate cleaners 

They offer £14-£16gph which if you do 55 hours per week in term time and hols is £45.7k 

A driver is needed for activities/collecting the weekly food shop, but there isnt driving needed each day - he gets the bus to and from school (bus stop walkable). Ideally own car but can sort duty car if preferred 

Parents often work from home but keep out of the way - the role is sole charge

Family have 2 cats 

He is a bright boy and enjoys learning so someone who can keep him engaged and stimulated would be needed 

Wont suit a nanny with your own accompanying child
