Ref MFL: St Albans

A family in St Albans is seeking a housekeeper-nanny for two children aged 7 and 12 

This role is very much housekeeper first and nanny second!  

They require Monday to Friday. Term time the hours are 11am-7pm 

In private school holidays (18 weeks per year) you will work 7.30am-6.30pm 

This is a long term position to start when right person is found  

The role is sole charge - parents work from home a day or two per week, in a separate office 

They offer up to £40,000 per year which works out to £17 per hour 

A driver is needed, they can offer an automatic duty car or you can use your own if you prefer 

Ofsted registration is helpful (or willing to apply, family pay fee)  

You will have experience of working with older children and in a nanny-housekeeper position 

No pets 

This is a full nanny housekeeper role - the children are in school so during the day, and have afterschool activities, so there is a fair bit of child free time where they ask cleaning, cooking family meals, laundry, admin and errands  

Once the children are home, helping with homework, sports, arts and crafts, cooking with them!  

Babysitting on occasion would be great - they may need the odd overnight on occasion (both parents travel for work, but rarely they overlap - this would be once every few months for just one night)  

Their current nanny has been with them over a decade!  

This position will not suit a NWOC
