Ref IFR: Hitchin

A family in Hitchin is seeking a nanny for one boy who will be nearly 12 months at the start of role 

They need 3 days per week - preference is Wed-Fri, but there is some flexibility 

The role is term time only - 39 weeks per year 

Hours: they can offer two options: 

Option 1: 7am-3pm for 30 weeks of the year, with 10am-6pm for the 9 remaining weeks of term 

Option 2: 10am-6pm for all 39 weeks  

Some work can be offered in school holidays, approximately 3-4 weeks extra per year. These would be 10am-6pm on the same 3 days 

This is a long term role to start in September, with optional settling days in August if you would like  

They offer £15-£17gph. As the role is term time only, this gives an annual salary of £15.7k - £17.8k (working 39 weeks, paid for 43.7 weeks to include your annual leave. Any additional work in school holidays would be paid on top) 

Dad WFH 1 days per week, mum on an ad hoc basis - the role is sole charge and they have a separate garden office 

Ofsted not needed 

A driver is much preferred, with your own car for work use - they are a 15 min walk to town so its not a must 

No pets or SEN requirements 

Nanny duties only, they would really value a nanny able to batch cook simple family meals as they love to eat with him  

They would love for you to take him out to activities and classes - he enjoys music, baby sign and the farm. You can also utilise their big garden and he enjoys baking! They would love for you to use your initiative and do activities you and he enjoy, they dont want to micromanage 

This is a lovely family whom I've placed a night nanny with previously 

They are open to employing a NWOC, either part time of similar age, or a school child coming during the holidays
